Mamta Banerjee, TMC Supremo has been invited to attend PM Modi swearing-in at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 30.
The Mamta-Modi fight in Bengal had turned violent with statues brought down, and several clashes between BJP and TMC Workers.
TMC has won 34 seats in 2014 and BJP had won only two seats. However, BJP registered major gains in recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections. BJP was up to 17 record seats whereas TMC could only win 22 seats.
Mamta-Modi relationship has turned sour in the campaign. However, PM Modi had divulged in his interview with Akshay Kumar that Mamta Banerjee sends him kurtas from Bengal.
